Post Holiday Update
Hi Mogul Family!
Wow, what a great weekend of training after a week or more on snow. Over our holiday week, we saw almost every type of weather and snow surface available. The last two days were pretty awesome, and the team really came together on the training course on Lower Ex. Big shout-out and thanks to Chris and Roger for helping us get the jump built on Saturday.
Killington Klassic Info: Mikey, Corey, and Rob are going to Killington this weekend and will be there Friday – Sunday. Details about the event, including parent ticket info, can be found on the Event Sheet on the Registration page on EasternFreestyle.org. Here is a link to it. Additionally, the event has not yet filled up, and there are still spots available for anyone who hasn’t registered but wants to attend.
We will still have a group at Mount Snow on Saturday and Sunday.
Registration for the Hunter B Meet Opens Tomorrow, Monday, January 5, 2026, at 8 PM: The Hunter meet will likely fill up on Monday night, so please be prepared to register.
First-Year Athletes Not Attending Killington or Hunter: It is totally OK to not travel to Killington or Hunter for your first event. We will have a group at Mount Snow on the weekends of both of those events. The event at Mount Snow will be an awesome first event. You can then do Willard and/or Stratton to get another 1 or 2 events in!
Registration for the A Bristol Event Opens Tomorrow: For our A athletes, registration for Bristol opens tomorrow at 8 PM.
Team Potluck Dinner on Feb 7th: Thanks to Andrea for securing the Ski Club for a team potluck dinner. All family members are invited. Also, this is the Saturday of the B/EQS Event at Mount Snow and the A/ECS Event is at Stratton this day - so everyone should be able to make it!
Photos & Videos and a Central Place to Save Them: We are looking for ideas on how best to safely save photos and videos for the team to access them. If anyone has done this with other sports teams, please let me know.
Safe travels to everyone heading to Killington.
Peace, powder, and pancakes,
-Laff
